Common, Patti LaBelle Among Latest Lineup Of Performers At Democratic National Convention

Spotted rehearsing at the United Center this afternoon were Patti LaBelle and Common, who look to be the latest performers to appear at the Democratic National Convention.

Jason Isbell and Mickey Guyton performed on Monday night, but another artist, James Taylor, was bumped from the lineup as the proceedings went way overtime. Convention officials have yet to say if he will be rescheduled.

Also spotted: Ana Navarro, who will be the host of the evening. Gov. J.B. Pritzker (D-IL) also appeared in advance of his speaking slot this evening.

Former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama are also among the key speakers, along with Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, who was an entertainment lawyer in Los Angeles.

Convention officials have not announced the complete lineup for the evening. But they said earlier today that they were making adjustments to try to make sure the proceedings don’t go overtime, as they did on the first night.
