She captioned it, “On this very day, seven years back (23.06.2017) in each others eyes, we saw love in its purest form and decided to hold on to it. Today that love has guided us through all the challenges and triumphs… leading up to this moment… where with the blessings of both our families and both our gods… we are now man and wife. According to reports, Sonakshi and Zaheer got married under the Special Marriage Act at the former’s residence in Bandra. After this, the bride and groom threw a reception party for close friends and family members at Bastian – At the Top in Lower Parel. The theme of the bash was white and ivory outfits. Talking about rituals so far, it started with a family meeting on the 20th, followed by Mehendi on the 21st. Last night, a Puja was hosted at Shatrughan Sinha’s Mumbai residence Ramayana. The bride-to-be looked radiant in a blue festive outfit.
For those unversed, Sonakshi and Zaheer have been dating for 7 years. They starred together in movie Double XL. While they remained tight-lipped about it, their mushy posts spoke volumes of their love.
