Logan Paul might be trading the WWE ring for the boxing ring once again, and this time, his rumored opponent is none other than Conor McGregor. The former UFC Champion dropped the unexpected news on Twitter while addressing speculation about a fight with UFC Featherweight Champion Ilia Topuria.

McGregor clarified the rumors, tweeting: “The rumors of a bout with Topurio are false. I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India. I have agreed. I will then seek my return to the Octagon.”

If true, this would mark McGregor’s return to boxing for the first time since his mega-fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2017. The UFC star hasn’t fought competitively since suffering a loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021. Since then, McGregor has spent time acting, playing Knox in the 2024 remake of Road House alongside Jake Gyllenhaal.

As for Logan Paul, his last official boxing win came in October 2023 against Dillon Danis. Since then, Paul has been making waves in WWE, most recently losing the United States Championship to LA Knight at SummerSlam in August 2024.

Paul has yet to comment on McGregor’s claim, but the possibility of these two massive personalities colliding in the ring has already sent shockwaves through the sports and entertainment worlds. The rumored bout in India would be an international spectacle like no other, combining McGregor’s fighting pedigree with Logan Paul’s crossover appeal.
