Manchester United’s dependable summer recruit Noussair Mazraoui has been ruled out of the club’s upcoming run of fixtures after undergoing surgery for heart palpitations, as confirmed by Samuel Luckhurst.
Thankfully, the corrective procedure was successful, and United expect him to make a full recovery ‘within the next few weeks’ – understandably hesitant to put a timeframe on his prospective return.

Mazraoui, 25, has been one standout figure amidst a tumultuous start to the campaign for the Red Devils. He officially joined from Bayern Munich in August along with Matthijs de Ligt, both of whom played under Erik ten Hag at Ajax.
It was confirmed earlier this week that the defender had withdrawn from international duty with Morocco due to an injury. Prior to the break, he was withdrawn at the interval during United’s stalemate at Villa Park last Sunday.

However, the recent return of Victor Lindelof will presumably see him occupy the position while Dalot returns to his preferred role at right-back.
StatmanDave had previously labelled Mazraoui ‘so consistent’ after he put in a stellar shift against FC Twente in the squad’s Europa League opener.
