Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story actor Cooper Koch is a relatively private person and doesn’t have a public Instagram account, so there isn’t much known about his personal life. If you’re trying to find out if Cooper is single or dating anyone, you probably won’t find anything online! While we don’t know too much about Cooper‘s life yet, he has previously opened up about being an openly gay actor in Hollywood and how that has affected his career so far. Keep reading to find out more… Cooper starred in Peacock’s horror film They/Them, which featured a mostly LGBTQ+ cast, and he was asked about being an out gay actor while promoting the movie. “I’m grateful that I got the opportunity to be cast in it. To have actual trans, nonbinary, and queer people playing all of the roles is how it should be. We should tell these stories more to build more awareness and represent our community,” Cooper told San Francisco Bay Times. In an interview with EDGE Media Network, Cooper talked about the kind of roles he hopes to get and not wanting to be pigeonholed as a gay actor. “There’s a lot of roles that I go out for that don’t identify as gay, and I don’t only wanna play queer roles,” he said. Cooper also opened up about a problematic comment he once received from an acting coach, who told him he has a “gay voice.” “I have a thick skin and at this point in my life, I’ve, you know, been through bullying when I was a kid, I’ve been fired from a pilot because of it,” Cooper said. “But I also don’t tolerate it anymore. I just will turn the other way and walk away. And also, it’s like, yeah, if you’re gonna have that kind of opinion or you’re not gonna wanna work with me because my voice sounds a certain way or because I walk or talk or move my hands in a certain way, then I don’t wanna work with you either, babe.” Nicholas Alexander Chavez stars as Lyle in Monsters and we know a lot more about his personal life.
