Darby Allin is cleared for action after he previously suffered a broken foot and a broken nose.
On the July 10th episode of AEW Dynamite, Darby Allin made his return. He had been sidelined for a few weeks, as he returned ahead of schedule from a broken nose and a broken foot for AEW Double or Nothing in May.
Darby Allin provided a brief update while speaking on Friday Night Fights to promote Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite. He stated that he was medically cleared.
“Dynamite 250 is actually me return again because if anyone knows, I broke my foot two months ago and then got hit by a bus and broke my nose, and then returned to the ring,” Darby Allin said. “I had one match, and I was hung upside down with a rope by my ankles and then kicked in the face with shoes that had superglued thumbtacks on the bottom of them.
“The thumbtacks got stuck in my lip, and it re-messed up my septum, and blood was squirting everywhere. So I am medically cleared after all that, and I am back to rock in Little Rock. It’s gonna be fun, I got a lot of crazy stuff planned.”
WrestleZone will have coverage of AEW Dynamite as it airs on Wednesday.
