David Raya joins Arsenal permanently. Loaned last season with an option to buy by Brentford, the Spanish goalkeeper signs a long-term contract (the duration has not been specified by the London club). “After a year on loan as a Gunner, I can finally say that I am an Arsenal player for years to come. I can’t wait to see what the future holds.”the person concerned said in the press release.

For his first season at the club, the 28-year-old goalkeeper quickly took the starting spot (41 matches in all competitions, 31 goals conceded) to the detriment of Aaron Ramsdale, who will probably look to leave the Gunners during this transfer window. This definitive transfer is estimated at a little over €30 million according to the English press.
