The door continues to revolve in and out of Salem, as Days of Our Lives prepares for its 60th Anniversary celebration.
Returning to the Peacock sudser today is JP Lavoisier as Philip, followed by the return of the beloved Louise Sorel as the villainous Vivian and Ivan G’vera as Ivan Marais next week.
Out the door on Oct. 28 for now is Brandon Barash as Stefan and Greg Vaughan as Eric. As is typically the case in the soap world, departures don’t last forever — especially since DOOL shoots nine months in advance.
The Peacock soap has already revealed all-star plans for its 60th anniversary celebration.
In addition to bringing back Alison Sweeney as Sami, Peter Reckell (Bo) and Kristian Alfonso (Hope) for the celebration, Leann Hunley (Anna) and Chandler Massey (Will) are also set to appear in future episodes, as well as Christie Clark (Carrie), Thaao Penghlis (Tony), Melissa Reeves (Jennifer), Victoria Konefal (Ciara), Charles Shaughnessy (Shane) and Matthew Ashford (Jack).
Their episodes are expected to stream in June on Peacock.
In March of 2023, DOOL was picked up for two more seasons. The renewal took it through the 60th season.
DOOL is produced by Corday Productions in association with Sony Pictures Television. Corday is the executive producer. The soap aired its 14,000th episode in 2020 and was NBC’s longest-running drama series until 2022, when it moved to Peacock.
