DAZN never ceases to surprise. After the announcement of a new offer (very financially interesting) at 69 euros in total for the second part of the Ligue 1 season (i.e. 13.80 euros per month until the end of July), the main broadcaster of the French championship will offer a multiplex to its subscribers!
The British group nicknamed “the Netflix of sport” has opted since the start of the year for a low-cost system for Sunday afternoon matches, with commentators in the cabin in Paris and not offering a program simultaneously retransmitting the three meetings at 5:15 p.m.
DAZN adds a program
According to account In Full SkylightDAZN will launch a multiplex next weekend for Sunday afternoon meetings, with Georges Quirino-Chaves on commentary. The latter, who also officiates on RMC and the L’Equipe channel, was the main presenter of the Sunday poster between OM and Le Havre at the Stade Vélodrome, Smaïl Bouabdellah having gone to Qatar for the Champions Trophy.
Ligue 1 fans will therefore be able to connect to a single channel (probably DAZN 1) to follow the matches scheduled at the same time without having to zap to see all the goals. No luck: the next two days of L1 only offer two matches at 5:15 p.m., Montpellier-Angers and Toulouse-Strasbourg this weekend and Angers-Auxerre and Reims-Le Havre in 13 days. First real multiplex on Sunday January 26 with Lens-Angers, Nantes-OL and Toulouse-Montpellier at 5:15 p.m.
