Former WWE superstar Dijak had spectacular run in their developmental territory, NXT, last year, but his transition to the main roster in the WWE Draft 2024 did not meet expectations. Following his departure from WWE, he is now officially a free agent.
Dijak’s contract was set to expire this month. The former member of Retribution announced that June 28th was his final day under contract with WWE, marking his entry into free agency.
Furthermore, Dijak is now set to make his first appearance for Beyond Wrestling after seven years. He will compete against Aaron Stevens at Americanrana at White Eagle in Worcester. But the theme of the event led to him make a bold proclaimation.
“🎇 THURSDAY, 4TH OF JULY 🎇

However, Dijak took the opportunity of the announcement to take to his X and lay claim to the popular ‘American Nightmare’ persona of the current Undisputed WWE Champion and the face of WWE, Cody Rhodes.
“Look at me, look at me @CodyRhodes I’m the American Nightmare now.”
Fans are now eagerly anticipating Dijak’s outside endeavours since leaving WWE. Stay tuned for more updates on Dijak’s wrestling journey as he embarks on this new chapter in his career.
