Diljit Dosanjh performed in Mumbai on Thursday night as a part of his Dil-Luminati India Tour. At the start of the show, Diljit addressed the crowd and spoke about the new advisory that was issued for him by the Maharashtra government. The authorities issued a notice asking the singer to not sing songs that mentioned drugs, alcohol and violence. Diljit gave a befitting reply to authorities in Pushpa 2 style.

During the Mumbai show, Diljit Dosanjh said in Hindi, “This morning, I learned that another advisory has been issued against me. Don’t worry, all advisories are on me. I will make sure you have double the fun tonight. Tonight, I will start the event with a thought I had while doing Yoga. I am sure you all know about Sagar Manthan!”
The singer also shared how during the Sagar Manthan, the holy nectar was consumed by Devtas while Shiva, despite consuming the poison, kept it in his throat and did not consume it. “What I have learnt from this is no matter how much poison people want to throw at you, you should not take that inside. People will try to stop you, but you should never let that affect you or your work,” Diljit Dosanjh said. The singer also quoted Pushpa 2 star Allu Arjun and enacted his signature move from the film. He said, “Aaj jhukega nahi…”
Before this, Diljit has been in news for several controversies. Even at Hyderabad show, he was refrained to sing songs based on alcohol and drugs. He also grabbed attention when he criticized infrastructure at Chandigarh concert. After this, his tweet with wrong spelling of Panjab also was blown out of proportion.

On the professional front, Diljit is nearing the end of his Dil-Luminati India tour, with a performance scheduled in Guwahati on December 29. Talking about movies, he is expected to be seen in No Entry 2 and Border 2.
