Former President of TNA Wrestling, Dixie Carter, took to social media to congratulate AJ Styles on his work in both TNA and WWE.
Carter quoted a tweet that mentioned Styles had wrestled in 874 matches for WWE in his eight years with the company, a number that is 66 matches higher than his time in TNA. Carter called him a “huge part” of TNA’s success, and wished him many more years of success.
“Hard to believe…[AJ Styles] was such a huge part of [TNA]’s success, a great human being & a phenomenal wrestler. So proud of his work in [WWE] too. Working with him, [Christopher Daniels] & [Frankie Kazarian] on an angle that they created was one of the highlights of my on camera time. Such talent. Wishing you many more years of incredible success AJ & grateful for you.”
