Dominik Mysterio is eager to get back out there so he can help the Judgment Day.
WWE star Dominik Mysterio has not wrestled since the April 15 episode of WWE RAW. There, he faced Andrade and suffered an injury in what was described as a freak accident. He has denied reports that he needs surgery. Earlier in May, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported that Dominik hoped to return in six to eight weeks. Dominik has continued to appear on WWE programming, but he has not gotten physical.
Speaking on The Masked Man Show, Dominik Mysterio was asked to provide an injury update.
“Arm’s great, arm’s healing up good,” Domink Mysterio said. “I had a slight tear in my Tommy John ligament, which is kind of a freak accident in the wrestling world because it’s a baseball injury. But yeah, about six-to-eight weeks. I’ve been doing two times a week for rehab. So I’m just trying to get healthy and trying to get back out there and help the Judgment Day so they can physically start hurting again.”
Dominik Mysterio Jokes That He’s Going Stir Crazy
Dominik Mysterio was then asked whether he was going stir crazy from not being able to wrestle. He joked that he felt like he was going a little insane.
“I feel like I’m going crazy, I’m going a bit insane,” Dominik Mysterio. “I feel a bit useless. [Laughs] I don’t know what it is. It’s just a weird feeling, from constantly having this feeling of going out there and getting this routine going to just nope, you can’t do that. It’s a totally different dynamic. I’m just trying to get healthy and get back out there as quick as possible.
As of this writing, there is no word on when Dominik Mysterio will return to the ring. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
