“Don’t abandon the Brazilian team”, Marquinhos in PLS!

Before the match against Uruguay, Marquinhos tries to re-mobilize the Brazilian people while the national team is experiencing a chaotic journey during the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.

Brazil was held in check (1-1) by Venezuela during qualifying for the 2026 World Cup. In the Amsud zone, the Seleçao is only in fourth place for the moment, behind Argentina, Uruguay and Colombia.

Faced with this crisis of results, Marquinhos stepped up to ask for support from the Auriverde people.

“Wearing the Brazilian team jersey is a privilege for everyone here. We know that many people support and follow the Brazilian team. We see the children at the door of our hotel, who are very proud to see the players. So never lose that passion, because it’s Brazil, it’s the Brazilians and we on the team are very proud and very honored to be here.” On the night of Tuesday to Wednesday (1:45 a.m. French time), Brazil will face Uruguay in qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.
