Donald Trump used the design of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour T-shirts as inspiration for his campaign merch after she endorsed Kamala Harris.
Trump seemingly retaliated to Swift’s endorsement by dropping a knock-off version of her color-blocked top on Friday.
The original design features a black-and-white image of the pop star surrounded by photos from each of her studio albums, differentiated by varying colors.
Underneath the pictures, the text reads, “Taylor Swift The Eras Tour.”

“Donald J. Trump,” the T-shirts read, alongside his slogan, “Make America Great Again.”
The former president, 78, also used the same font as the “Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince” singer, 34.
Reps for Swift and Trump did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

“Taylor should sue him for copyright,” one person wrote, to which another agreed, “taylor needs to take strict action because he is literally giving over obsessed.”
“So a 78 year old man who is currently in the running for the role of the president is taking a petty dig at a young woman for having an opinion?” another asked.
Trump’s latest merch drop came just a few days after Swift voiced her support for the vice president, 59, following the candidates’ first debate.

“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election,” Swift wrote on Instagram. “I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them.”
Swift praised the Democratic nominee for being “a steady-handed, gifted leader” who she believes will lead the country by “calm and not chaos.”
Although Swift centered her post around Harris’ strengths, she also slammed Trump for falsely claiming she endorsed him last month by sharing AI-generated images of her online.
Swift revealed his social media activity was part of why she decided to speak out.

“It brought me to the conclusion that I need to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election as a voter,” she continued. “The simplest way to combat misinformation is with the truth.”
The following day, Trump brushed off the pop star’s endorsement, calling Swift “a very liberal person” whom he was never a “fan” of.
Although he warned she might “pay a price for it in the marketplace” for going against him, he clearly thinks she still has some selling power.
