DR Congo dominated Guinea this Friday evening in the quarter-final of the African Cup of Nations (3-1).

If Bayo opened the scoring for Syli National, from the penalty spot (20e), the Leopards responded with Mbemba (27e), turning the tide thanks to Wissa, from the penalty spot (65e), and Masuaku (82e).

The Congolese have thus validated their ticket for the last four of the competition, where they will face Mali or Ivory Coast, host country of the tournament.

This is the fifth time in its history that the Democratic Republic of Congo, winner of the trophy in 1968 and 1974, has invited itself to this stage of the African continental high mass. The first since 2015.
