Drew McIntyre says he’ll drive management crazy if that’s what it takes to get a match with John Cena.

John Cena will go on a farewell tour in 2025, and it will end with his retirement from the ring. Naturally, many WWE stars are lining up to face him. Now, Drew McIntyre has added his name to the mix.

Speaking on Masked Man Show at Fanatics Fest NYC, Drew McIntyre brought up John Cena’s farewell tour. He made it clear that he wanted to face the 16-time world champion.

“Cena’s coming back for his yearlong return, it’s gonna be awesome,” Drew McIntyre said. “I don’t know if I’m figured in the plans, but I guarantee I’ll be pushing, and I’ll be nudging them left and right to make it happen because the amount of stories that I’ve got about Punk and things that happened when I was younger, I’ve got tenfold on him. It’s never been a one-on-one match.

“If I have to drive management crazy, I’ll drive them crazy, I’ll drive John crazy. I’m gonna get that match, and I’ll tear him apart on the microphone, which not many people can do, in the ring, and send him packing into happy retirement, and hopefully Punk along with him.”

Meanwhile, McIntyre will face CM Punk in a Strap Match at WWE Bash in Berlin.
