CM Punk’s dreams of main eventing WrestleMania 40 have been shattered, courtesy of Drew McIntyre. However, even after their face-off on RAW, the Scottish Warrior continued to mock the fallen Best in the World.

Punk opened RAW addressing the rumors of suffering an injury at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. He admitted to the fact that he indeed injured his triceps and would miss WrestleMania this year, once again failing to achieve his ultimate goal.

An emotional CM Punk was then confronted by Drew McIntyre, who had given him a DDT in the Rumble match, leading to his injury. A verbal back-and-forth ended with McIntyre preying on an injured Best in the World, knocking him down with a Glasgow Kiss and injuring his arm further.

However, the former WWE champion was not planning to stop the CM Punk mockery extravaganza. He took to his X to take another shot at Punk by claiming to live his dream and main event The Show of Shows once again.

“I’m going to live @CMPunk’s dream and main event #WrestleMania…. AGAIN #WWERAW.”

With the Voice of the Voiceless out, WWE has indeed suffered a major blow for their WrestleMania plans. So it would be interesting to see who fills the gap left by the star power of CM Punk as the road to WrestleMania 40 is off to a turbulent start.

Do you think Drew McIntyre will main event WrestleMania this year? Sound off in the comments!
