€80 million-rated Serie A winger’s agent comments on Barcelona, PSG links: “Of course there are offers for him”

Speaking to Russian publication Championat, Mamuka Jugeli, the agent of Napoli winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, has hinted that the Georgian has proposals from top clubs like Barcelona and PSG.

Barcelona are in the market for a new winger for the summer transfer window and Kvaratskhelia, who has enjoyed a terrific run at Napoli, is seen as one of the targets at the Catalan outfit.

Recent reports have suggested that PSG, too, have taken an interest in the Georgian international with Kylian Mbappe on his way out, potentially signing for Real Madrid.

And, with a few months left before the transfer window opens, Kvaratskhelia’s agent, Mamuka Jugeli, has talked up his client and hinted that he does have offers from clubs like Barcelona and PSG.

“Barcelona and PSG? Of course, there are offers for Khvicha from top clubs. Look at him! How can there be no offers? In May it will be clearer,” said Jugeli.

Kvaratskhelia played a crucial role in Napoli winning the Serie A title last season and enjoyed a spectacular campaign.

Although his returns have not been at the same level this term, the winger remains a much sought-after prospect across Europe.

The winger, whose market value stands at €80 million, has a contract with Napoli that runs until the summer of 2027.

As such, it will be anything but easy for Barcelona to secure his services given their economic situation at the moment. Furthermore, if PSG are serious, the Catalans could be blown out of the title race by the French champions financial might.
