Elon Musk appeared as a surprise guest at Michael Milken’s annual Hamptons Prostate Cancer Foundation gala over the weekend to speak in front of a crowd filled with fellow billionaires including Julia Koch, Bill Ackman, Stephen Schwarzman, Rob Citrone and Patrice Motsepe, among others.

Musk — whose tech empire includes Starlink, the satellite service that brought the internet to a reclusive tribe in the Amazon — said that the fancy enclave of the Hamptons could use some help.

A spy told Page Six, “One of the highlights of Milken’s wide ranging one-on-one chat with Elon was when [Musk was] asked about the success of Starlink, he talked about how bad cell service was in the Hamptons.”

“I had important texts to respond to on the way here and couldn’t… people were asking where I was, Timbuktu?” Musk quipped, according to our spy.

Another source said that Musk revealed at the Parrish Art Museum talk that, “he wanted to ‘die in a capsule off the coast of Mars.'”

The SpaceX pioneer has been in a race to fly to Mars, with a long-term goal of colonizing the planet.

Musk, who recently endorsed Donald Trump, hosted a chat with the GOP candidate on his X platform — and has reportedly offered the same opportunity to Kamala Harris.

But source told us that at his Hamptons talk, Musk mostly steered clear of politics, adding, “there was a brief discussion about immigration globally,” as well as education.

Said a spy of the scene, “He got a standing ovation from a crowd of super rich financial types.”

Musk’s mom, model Maye Musk, also made a surprise appearance at the charity event that raised over $3 million for cancer research.

Also spotted was “Cheers” star Kelsey Grammer, as well as Rep. Michael McCaul (R-Tex.), M.I.T. Media Lab star Neri Oxman, Christine Schwarzman and Gina Carithers.

Behind the scenes, we hear that Musk checked into the Capri Hotel in Southampton, known for its buzzing pool parties and new late-night club, Ketchy Beach.

Were told the Tesla billionaire checked in through a back entrance, though his mom arrived via the front lobby.

Following his talk with Milken, we hear the tech mogul was going to stop by Ketchy — an outpost of the city’s hip Ketchy Shuby.

A spy tells us “There was a whole private section set up for him in the outdoor space that they had covered with plants and fabric so no one could see in.”

The source added that Musk’s “four security guards did a walk-through to not only check for safety, but that it was the right sound levels and right vibe.”

A DJ was even on hand for the mogul.

But while the security guys hung out in the area for 40 minutes, we hear that Musk was a no show.
