Is Emily in Paris getting a fifth season at Netflix? That’s the question that fans are asking after a guest role in the popular series’ fifth season was auctioned off during the amfAR Gala on Thursday (May 23) amid the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. There’s just one problem, though: Netflix has not confirmed that the show will continue after its still-unreleased fourth season. Keep reading to find out more… Variety reported that Emily in Paris creator Darren Star sponsored the auction, which a person paid €250,000 to win. On top of a role in the show’s fifth season, the winner will also be able to attend the show’s Season 4 premiere in Los Angeles. Amid questions about the show’s future, the auction listing was updated to say that the winner “will have the opportunity to spend a day on set in Paris during filming, contingent upon season 5 pickup.” Earlier this month it was confirmed that the fourth season of Emily in Paris will premiere in two parts this fall.
