An emotional Amy Robach said she’d “chosen” to love T.J. Holmes despite the “pressure” of their former careers weighing on them.

“We’ve always worked together, but working with this kind of pressure over our heads is a whole other thing … that pressure is a lot,” Robach shared on Tuesday’s episode of the “Amy and T.J.” podcast.

Robach clarified that she doesn’t feel “pressure from the public” to stay with her former “GMA3” anchor but instead feels it from their careers that were “unfairly taken” following their affair.

“I know that I know you well enough and I’ve spent enough time with you and I knew how I felt,” she continued telling Holmes.

“And love sometimes is a choice, when it’s hard, it’s not just a feeling. Lust is a feeling, but love is a choice I believe, and I have chosen to love you.”

The former broadcast journalist, who would like to be on-air again alongside her beau, also told Holmes, 46, that she’d be “devastated” if their relationship failed because she “chose” him and wants to be together.

Robach, 50, and Holmes officially exited ABC in January 2023 after they were caught in photos engaging in an extramarital affair, which the network deemed a “distraction.”

When the scandal first broke, the network launched an investigation into the nature of the pair’s relationship and discovered that Holmes allegedly had romances with three other employees: married producer Natasha Singh, script coordinator Jasmin Pettaway — with whom he allegedly had sex in his office — and another junior staffer.

One year after their cheating scandal broke, Holmes and Robach broke their silence on the affair allegations.

“To be clear, we were outed as being in a relationship, but everyone else thought we were being outed as adulterers — being outed as cheating on our spouses — and it wasn’t the case,” Holmes said during a December episode of his and Robach’s podcast.

“We both at that point were in divorce proceedings.”

Robach chimed in, alleging that they “had attorneys and mediators [and] were in the middle of divorces.”

“Relationships are hard, they’re messy, they’re not perfect,” Robach said. “We have fought for love, and I can say I have never been happier. I am with my best friend.”
