Eric Trump has sent a poignant message after his father, Donald Trump, was shot in the ear during a rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday.
“Toughest man I have ever met,” Eric told Page Six of the former president, whom the Secret Service has confirmed is safe and being evaluated at a local medical facility following the incident.
Butler county District Attorney Richard Goldinger confirmed to ABC News that the shooter — who was “on the roof of an adjacent building” — is dead.
The former president appeared to be hit in the ear but is now safe, per the Secret Service. REUTERS His bloody ear was on display as he was rushed off the rally stage after shots rang out. APAt least one rally-goer was killed and another seriously injured.
