Eric Young, Brian Myers Not Cleared To Wrestle After TNA Rebellion

A few TNA stars are banged up coming out of TNA Rebellion.

In a tweet, TNA provided medical updates on Eric Young, Josh Alexander, Alex Hammerstone, and Brian Myers. Gia Miller announced that Eric Young suffered a severe laceration to his ear, and he saw a local plastic surgeon who helped to attach the severed ear. He is no longer medically cleared to wrestle. Miller stated that Alexander suffered a severe ear laceration as well as contusions to his ear and eardrum, but he was cleared to wrestle.

In the announcement, Miller also said that Hammerstone passed all concussion protocol tests, and he was cleared to compete. Lastly, Myers suffered an undetermined shoulder injury, and he will be undergoing an MRI to determine the nature of the issue. However, he was not cleared to wrestle.

Eric Young lost to Frankie Kazarian in a Full Metal Mayhem match at TNA Rebellion. Alexander beat Hammerstone in a Last Man Standing match at the show. Myers and Eddie Edwards defeated Speedball Mountain to retain the TNA World Tag Team Championship.
