Pep Guardiola has admitted that Manchester City could be on their way out of the Champions League.
He believes his side would 'deserve' it should they be eliminated by failing to beat Club Brugge next week.
The Man City boss told TNT Sports: "First half we have a moment, they have moments. They were better. At 0-2, fine.
"We scored goals in five minutes, they scored goals in 5 minutes. We couldn't control the first goal, it was a bit knockout.
"They lift in that moment. They were better, faster, win the duels. We couldn't cope with that.
"Accept the defeat, the best team won. Last chance at home versus Brugges to qualify."
Guardiola continued: "To play you have to play, we could not.
"To defend the result, have to take the goal. We didn't have it. They attack better, it's difficult.
"It could happen [getting knocked out]. If we don't win we don't deserve it. It was a difficult start.
"Sporting in a certain moment. PSG tough, Juventus tough. The difficult away games we have.
"It's the reality, we didn't do enough points. We have to accept it.
"The last game vs Brugges dictates what we have to do."
Head scratcher
Manchester City have lost a game from two goals up for the first time in all competitions since May 2021.
The last time it happened was in the Premier League against Brighton & Hove Albion when they were beaten 3-2.
Ironically, that was 115 games ago (insert charges joke here).
But giving up leads has become a bit of a habit for City.
They have failed to win a game in which they were ahead in all competitions this season on nine occasions (D5 L4).
That is the most of any Premier League club in 2024/25.
It's got Pep Guardiola leaving scars on his head all over again...
'It's so important'
Declan Rice has reacted to Arsenal's comfortable win tonight.
He referenced his and Martin Odegaard's goals that saw them push on from midfield to finish inside the box.
Rice told TNT Sports: "It's so important, I think the manager has been on us really hard about midfielders arriving.
"So many goals can come from there. It's down to us to make up that extra five, 10 yards.
"Martin [Odegaard] obviously did there at the end, I did for the header, so we've got to keep arriving there.
"Everybody's contributing."
He continued: "Look it was an important win tonight.
"It's been a very positive Champions League campaign, so we've got one more to go now, hopefully we can win that as well."
How things stand
Here's how the Champions League looks with one game to go.
Liverpool and Barcelona are the only two teams to have guaranteed their places in the last 16 via the automatic places.
However, Arsenal are all but through as well, along with Inter.
Aston Villa still have a chance of getting into the top eight too,
But for Manchester City, they're all the way down in 25th and on the brink of elimination from Europe.
The teams below Shakhtar are already out of contention.
Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are going to need things to go their way to get into the automatic qualifying spots.
A seeded place in the play-offs looks the more likely outcome for the two European giants.
Goals galore
It's been another thrilling night of European action.
A six-goal thriller sees Man City lose again while it was much easier for Arsenal as they won 3-0 against Dinamo Zagreb.
Elsewhere, Celtic overcame three disallowed goals and a missed penalty to beat Young Boys and secure a playoff spot.
Harry Kane and Bayern were beaten 3-0 by Feyenoord while Real Madrid ran out 5-1 winners at the Bernabeu.
Here are all of tonight's results:
