Jhon Duran is set to undergo a medical with Al Nassr ahead of a move from Aston Villa, talkSPORT understands.
The big-spending Saudi Pro League is looking to make another major attacking transfer this January with Duran the next to join them in a £75.3million package.
Duran could be set for a massive payday thanks to his fine formCredit: GettyIt's a transfer that will see the 21-year-old Colombian play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo, who signed for Al Nassr at the beginning of 2023.
Signed in 2023 from Chicago Fire, Duran impressed enough to attract interest from Chelsea in his first season, but this January had been all about another London club.
talkSPORT understands that West Ham bid £40million and £57million for the Villa man this month and despite the Hammers being unsuccessful, Saudi dealmakers haven’t been put off.
And they’ve had success too, with talkSPORT's Saudi correspondent Ben Jacobs saying Duran has agreed terms.
It's a deal that could very well scupper Arsenal's attempts at signing a striker before the end of the window.
talkSPORT understands the Gunners have made a shock approach for Villa's Ollie Watkins, but this has been rejected.
It is understood that boyhood Arsenal fan Watkins could be open to the move, although Villa aren't happy with the approach being made before their Champions League clash against Celtic.
They are not planning for his departure during the current window but now face a fight to keep both their leading frontmen.
Duran's pending move comes after Jacobs also reported that Al Nassr have also been keen on Bundesliga talent Victor Boniface.
Boniface looked set for a long and successful career in Germany, but could be heading out of Bayer Leverkusen amid a potential fee of €60million [£50million].

Becoming Bundesliga champions for the first time and DFB Pokal winners, Leverkusen haven’t had the same unstoppable form, but remain in the title hunt and look set to go deep in the Champions League.
Taking the burden up front have been Patrik Schick with 17 goals and Florian Wirtz with 14, while Boniface is down on eight.
He also missed a lengthy stint due to a car accident in October, yet just a month later a video appeared online of him texting while driving.
Commenting on the matter, head coach Xabi Alonso said: "Of course driving while on your phone is not allowed.
"It’s not good and it shouldn’t happen. I haven’t seen Boni yet but he knows. We have to tell him that it’s not correct behaviour, it’s not allowed."
Double winner Boniface has also been eyedCredit: GettyBoniface remained out of the team and hasn’t played for Leverkusen since November, having twice been left on the bench after returning to the squad in January.
In the unlikely event both Duran and Boniface are signed, one could be allocated to another Saudi Pro League club.
