Eva Mendes gushed over longtime partner Ryan Gosling following his 2024 Oscar nomination for his role in “Barbie.”

“So proud of my man,” the actress wrote on Instagram Wednesday alongside a screenshot of a past article slamming Gosling’s performance as Ken in the 2023 film.

“So much hate when he took on this role. So many people trying to shame him for doing it.”

Mendes, 49, continued, “Despite all the #Notmyken ridicule and articles written about him, he created this completely original, hilarious, heartbreaking, now iconic character and took it all the way to Oscars [sic].

Mendes’ post highlighted various portions of the June 2022 article, in which Gosling, 43, was critiqued as a “creepy, older West Hollywood [man] who still thinks they’re in their 20’s.”

The piece also claimed the actor’s bleach-blond hair in the movie was “just that bad” and his costumes were enough to send viewers to therapy for nightmares.

The “Hitch” star’s appreciation for her man was echoed by his co-star America Ferrera.

“👏👏👏 He is brilliant as Ken! Pulled off a triple somersault performance,” Ferrera, who played Gloria in the film, commented.

“We’re so lucky it was him and I’m so grateful for the way he showed up with his super stardom, and continues to show up to support all the women in this process!! He is a class act and insanely deserving and talented.”

“Top Chef” alum Padma Lakshmi also chimed in, saying that Gosling’s part was “such a hard role to pull off,” but “he did so with flying colors and made it so much fun AND endearing.”

On Tuesday, it was revealed that Gosling received a 2024 Oscar nomination in the best supporting actor category, while Ferrera was nominated for best supporting actress.

However, fans and industry insiders were upset that “Barbie” director Greta Gerwig and star Margot Robbie, who played the titular role, were snubbed.

Following the news, Ferrera, 39, shared her disappointment, admitting she was “incredibly disappointed.”

“Greta has done just about everything that a director could do to deserve it,” the “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” actress told Variety Tuesday.

“Creating this world, and taking something that didn’t have inherent value to most people and making it a global phenomenon. It feels disappointing to not see her on that list.”

She further gushed over Robbie, adding, “What Margot achieved as an actress is truly unbelievable. One of the things about Margot as an actress is how easy she makes everything look. And perhaps people got fooled into thinking that the work seems easy.”

The “Notebook” actor also echoed the same disappointment in statement obtained by The Post, saying, “There is no Ken without Barbie.”

“There is no Barbie movie without Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie, the two people most responsible for this history-making, globally celebrated film,” he continued.

“Barbie” was a smash hit last summer, bringing in more than $1 billion at the box office, according to the New York Times.

Gerwig, 40, made Warner Bros. history as the first female director to reach the billion-dollar mark.
