The 2025 F1 season is getting closer and closer! While the racing season doesn’t officially start until March, updates on each team have been flowing since last year and we’re taking a look at the latest updates on the reserve driver lineup. Each Formula 1 team has two drivers on the grid for each race, given they have a car, but just in case a driver can’t perform their race duties, there are reserve drivers to step in case of illness, injury or maybe suspension. The reserve drivers will also be in attendance at most, if not all, grand prix weekends, at the chance they may need to be called up to race. In addition to sitting on the sidelines, they also have other duties within the team, which may include simulator work, sitting in engineering meetings, testing, and more. We are taking a look at every F1 reserve driver that has been announced for the upcoming 2025 season, so far.
