Suspended four years for doping, Paul Pogba saw a former president of Juventus regret his return to the Bianconeri.

The verdict is in. Testing positive for testosterone on August 20, Paul Pogba received a four-year suspension from the Italian anti-doping court. A sanction which spells the end of his adventure at Juventus and undoubtedly even the end of his career.

While he intends to appeal this decision, Paul Pogba has received numerous signs of support. But some have not been kind to the Frenchman. This is evidenced by the words of Giovanni Cobolli Gigli, former president of Juventus (2006-2009).

“Juve lost big by recovering Pogba. The real mistake was taking it back. He never regained a high level. He was considered the man of renewal but in the end, the figures say the opposite. he confided about the man who has only played 212 minutes in 13 appearances since his return in the summer of 2022.
