Ex-Premier League boss Nathan Jones set for League One job as Charlton close in

Charlton are hopeful of appointing Nathan Jones as their new manager, talkSPORT understands.

The Addicks have been on the lookout for a new boss since January 23 after axing Michael Appleton following the 3-2 defeat against Northampton.

talkSPORT told you how former Southampton boss Jones was an early contender for the vacant job.

And the Welshman now looks set to be take charge of League One Charlton - his first managerial role since being sacked at St Mary's in February 2023.
