Billy Jack Haynes, a former WWE star from the 80s, was taken into custody in relation to tragic shooting incident involving his wife Janette Becraft in Portland’s Lents neighborhood.
Following a fatal shooting at 6000 SE 100th Avenue, a shelter-in-place order was issued as police responded to the incident involving Billy Jack Haynes and his wife, Janette Becraft. Haynes, arrested on Thursday last week after a standoff, was taken to the hospital for medical attention.
Police confirmed there is no ongoing threat to the community, and the body of Janette Becraft was discovered during the inspection. According to PWInsider, it was reported that Haynes remains hospitalized in Portland, Oregon and will be charged in relation to murder of his wife once he is discharged from the hospital.
It was also added that Billy Jack Haynes had recently fallen and injured his ribs before the tragic incident took place. This would explain why he was taken to the hospital in the first place.
