Nawazuddin Siddiqui talking about Salman Khan
The Sacred Games actor exclusively told us, “Off screen wo log bohot ache hai. Salman Khan bohot pyaare insaan hai. Bhai ka toh aisa hai ki woh khudke bhi dialogue dusre ko de dete hai ki ‘Bhai tu bol le.’ Bajrangi Bhaijaan mein toh kitni saari punch lines toh mujhe dedi unhone ki ‘Ye le, tu bol.‘” (Everyone is very good off-screen as well. Salman Khan is a humble man. He often used to give his dialogue to other stars, asking them to say it in the movie. During the Bajrangi Bhaijaan shoot, he gave me so many of his punchlines, saying that I should say in the movie.)
Nawaz talks about working with SRK
Siddiqui further said, “Shah Rukh saab aur main kahi baar apne scenes ki rehearsals karte the. Agar kahi bhi lagta tha ki zarasa bhi doubt hai, uski firse rehearsal karte the. Shah Rukh toh ye bhi bolte the ki ‘Agar aapko lagta hai Nawaz bhai iss scene ko dubara karna hai toh hum doobara karenge’. Itna kamal ka confidence dena is amazing.” (Shah Rukh Khan and I used to rehearse scenes several times during Raees shoot. Whenever we used to have doubts about a scene, we used to rehearse it. In fact, SRK used to ask me if I felt like redoing a scene then they would re-do the scene once again. That level of confidence in him was amazing.)
