Manchester United reportedly advanced in their pursuit to sign Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee this week, giving Kobbie Mainoo something to talk about as he was caught on camera interacting with the Netherlands forward.
It was a special night for England. A 2-1 win over the Netherlands to secure a place in a consecutive European Championship final. Can they go all the way this time or will Spain have too much for them in Sunday’s final?
Mainoo should have won the Player of the Match award for his stunning display against the Dutch. He also made history by becoming the youngest ever to play for the Three Lions in the semi-final of a major tournament.
The 19-year-old was seen to have a cheeky chat with United transfer target Zirkzee after the full-time whistle, perhaps knowing there is a strong likelihood they will be team-mates this summer.
Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano shared a screenshot of Mainoo chatting with Zirkzee.

United have reportedly agreed personal terms with Zirkzee.
The cameras focused on Mainoo as he shook hands with Zirkzee, who came off the bench at the end for the Netherlands.
Did Mainoo give Zirkzee an early welcome message?
