While his future at RC Lens is increasingly uncertain, Franck Haise would like to join OGC Nice. The Aiglons will have to convince the Blood and Gold…

With that of sports directors, the transfer window for coaches promises to be particularly hectic this offseason. And it is the Franck Haise soap opera that is moving forward.

While he was already wondering about his future, the RC Lens coach was affected by the departure of sports director Arnaud Pouille, to whom he was close. And a new step is being taken according to France Bleu Nord, since Franck Haise would now have a priority to join OGC Nice.

Nice will have to convince Lens

On the Aiglons side, the bench has been vacant since Francesco Farioli left to join Ajax. In recent days, a Bruno Genesio-Florian Maurice ticket, to reform the coach-sports director couple in force at Stade Rennais, seemed the trend. But the Haise option is starting to gain credibility.

Lens, however, has not said its last word. At the head of the first team since 2020, Franck Haise still has his contract with the Sang et Or until 2027. Its owner, Joseph Oughourlian, absolutely wants to keep him. Negotiations are likely to be delicate between Lens and Nice in the coming hours…
