Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus has been banned from Counter-Strike for alleged cheating, and has pleaded with the developers on social media.

The Brazilian has proven to be a big fan of first-person shooter video games, with a staggering $36,000 in in-game purchases. Jesus even got himself a custom M4A1-S Hot Rod pistol from worth $800, with several fancy stickers on the barrel. However, Jesus’ excessive greed earned him a heavy sanction from the developers, since his account was banned.

Gabriel Jesus expresses his frustration

Jesus took to X to share his situation and asked Valve, the developer, to restore his account: “ Hello @counterstrike, my account was unfairly banned by VAC (Valve Anti-Cheat), can you help me?“.

Hi @counterstrike my account received a VAC ban unfairly, can you help me? Follow the account link and print of the ban https://t.co/pd2BgmA2BX pic.twitter.com/yQPI8uM5Jj

The ban reportedly took place on Saturday, around the time Jesus was on the pitch to help Arsenal to a 5-0 victory over Crystal Palace. He assisted Leandro Trossard for the Gunners’ third goal, while Gabriel Magalhaes, a Dean Henderson own goal and a late double from Gabriel Martinelli sealed a crushing victory over Roy Hodgson’s troops .

Jesus also shares his gaming experiences on Twitch and previously streamed a session with compatriot Neymar, attracting a huge audience of over 10,000 viewers. However, a section of Arsenal fans were happy to see him banned as it had been over a month since he last found the net in the Premier League – against Brighton on December 17 in a 2 -0.
