Colbie Caillat will be finishing her joint tour with Gavin DeGraw on her own. The close friends and musicians reunited for a string of shows in August. However, on Wednesday (August 7), the “Chariot” singer took to social media to reveal that he would be missing the next two shows and that a final date was cancelled. He explained why, and Colbie also reacted to the news. Keep reading to find out more… Colbie will be performing without Gavin on August 8 in Saratoga, Calif. and on August 9 in Rohnert Park, Calif. Their final show in Pala, Calif on August 10 has been cancelled. Gavin took to Instagram to reveal that he was sick and on vocal rest for the next week. “I wanted to give an update after visiting with my doctor this past week. I’m very upset to share that it looks like I still have some recovering to do and have been told to stay on vocal rest for another week,” he wrote. “To everyone coming out to shows this week at Saratoga and Rhonert… I will not be performing, but please go support @colbiecaillat and show her some love.” He added, “Again, thank you all for your well wishes. I hope that I can make it up to all of you soon.” Colbie also reacted on X (formerly Twitter). “We are so sorry for any inconvenience this has cause you, we know how much effort it takes to come see a show! I’m still looking forward to playing the first two shows and I am just as sad as you that Gavin won’t be there! We are so bummed to have to cancel our Pala show 💙 we love and appreciate you all and hope to see you soon,” she wrote. You can get refunds for the August 10 show at the original point of purchase.
