Congress leader Chintakunta Vijaya Rama Rao, who is the MLA of Peddapalli, always visits villages to learn about their problems and work towards finding solutions. Despite being in the Opposition party, he has remained connected with the people, which is why they elected him as their MLA in the previous elections.

Vijaya Ramana Rao comes from a political family in Shivampally village of Peddapally district. His late father was a village Sarpanch and his late brother was a Single Window Chairman who helped those in need. Inspired by his family, he entered politics.

Starting as a student union leader, Vijaya Ramana Rao played a significant role in the Telugu Desam Party from 1990 to 1995, serving as a mandal president, ZPTC, and district president. He was elected as the MLA of Peddapally from 2009 to 2014 and also served as the district president of the erstwhile Karimnagar district.

Despite facing challenges within his party, Vijaya Ramana Rao has always stood against corruption and worked for the welfare of his constituency. He has led agitations against the TRS government and fought for the rights of farmers during difficult times such as cyclones.

Throughout his political career, Vijaya Ramana Rao has maintained a strong connection with the public and remained dedicated to serving his constituency. He has faced arrests and legal cases for his activism but continues to work tirelessly for the people he represents.
