Olivier Giroud missed the opportunity to score his fifth penalty of the season with AC Milan (out of his eleven goals in all competitions), Saturday evening during the Bologna reception at San Siro. Then trailing by the score, the Rossoneri obtained a penalty kick for a foul on Simon Kjaer which was hotly contested by the visitors (Thiago Motta even being excluded from his bench).
The problem for Giroud is that he hit his penalty badly. His cross shot from the left, not very powerful, was easily captured by Lukasz Skorupski, the Polish goalkeeper of Rossoblu (42nd). Fortunately, in the process, the locals equalized through English midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek (45th).
