Deion Sanders’ Colorado team has something special going on. They all believe in the program, and Coach Prime is out there to make a difference. He is also known for being flashy, and the team just got a huge asset with Gage Goldberg.

Bill Goldberg’s son, Gage, is now going to play for Colorado and Coach Deion Sanders. That was big news in the college football world, and Goldberg helped grease the wheels.

When speaking to TMZ, Gage Goldberg explained how the whole deal to come to Colorado came together. It seems that Goldberg picking up the phone really helped move things along.

“Goldberg’s son said that he was very close to going to Alabama, but then Nick Saban retired. He then said his top 5 schools were Alabama, Duke, UFC, NC State, those were my four.”

“Then he reached out with Deion, and he called me and then the opportunity came up with a PWO at Colorado, and I committed on that.

We will have to see what Goldberg’s son does for the rest of his career. He could have a bright future ahead of him in football, or even pro wrestling, if that ever comes to mind. He certainly has a father who can call a lot of people to open doors for him.
