The shows do not often cross over but it can be a big deal when it actually happens. One of the most common ways it happens is with titles, which was the case last week. However, it didn’t quite go as well as expected.

This week’s NXT featured a Women’s Tag Team Title match as the Kabuki Wariors made a special appearances to successfully defend their titles against Lyra Valkyria and Tatum Paxley. According to Fightful Select, while NXT officials were happy to have the Kabuki Warriors available, they were frustrated that the team was already set for a title defense the following week on Monday Night Raw.
