Gunther secured the WWE Intercontinental Championship in June 2022 and went on to become the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion in history. He has been ruling WWE with an iron fist as the leader of Imperium and has now addressed possibly adding a female member to the faction.

Alongside Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci, Gunther strikes fear into the hearts of his foes as the leader of Imperium. The faction continues to reign over WWE and fans do wonder if more members will be added to the group.

While speaking on The Battleground Podcast, Gunther was asked about the possibility of Imperium getting a new member. Gunther made it clear there are no plans to add more members to the faction, even a female member.

”Um, there’s no plans for that no. It’s not uh, it’s not a group where it’s like we got to fill those spots. Who do we take it’s either naturally, or that it comes together or it doesn’t come together.”

‘I know both of them for a long time now and especially Kaiser have been, I think, we know each other since like 2009 or 2010 and traveled everywhere together in Germany and now we’re doing it again up here. There’s a connection behind it and that’s why we’re doing it. I don’t think I could not be in a situation like that with somebody that I have no real connection with on a personal level as well, so there’s not really any plan to that.”

Gunther also recently revealed the sacrifices he had to make for his current run in WWE. Gunther is more than happy with how Imperium is positioned right now and that is all that matters to him.
