Gunther Sets Yet Another Historic Milestone as WWE Intercontinental Champion

Gunther secured the WWE Intercontinental Championship in June 2022 and went on to become the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion in history. However, he has set yet another historic milestone as the champion recently.

The Ring General has been utterly infallible since becoming the champion in 2022, as he has consistently knocked down all forms of competition, vying for his prized Intercontinental Championship.

After surpassing The Honky Tonk Man last year, Gunther has achieved another major milestone. As of February 19th, Gunther has surpassed Pedro Morales’ record of combined days as Intercontinental Champion, with over 619 days and counting.

Gunther also recently revealed the sacrifices he had to make for his current run in WWE. Gunther is truly the GOAT when it comes to being the Intercontinental Champion, so fans continue to wonder if he will ever drop the title one day, as it seems highly unlikely right now.
