Manchester City extended their clean sheet in the Premier League this Saturday by beating West Ham away.

Manchester City are well on their way to winning their fourth consecutive English league title. After three Premier League games, the Sky Blues are the only team to have won all their matches. And their latest victory was this Saturday against West Ham (3-1).

City are rolling and the main protagonist of their show of force is obviously Erling Haaland. The Norwegian goal scorer was impressive with another hat-trick. It’s his 8e in the English elite, as many as Thierry Henry, Michael Owen or Harry Kane. Three new goals which are added to the four he had already scored during the first two days.

Haaland did everything to them

Haaland started his show from the 10the minute by converting a low shot from Bernardo Silva’s service. After the Londoners equalized, following an own goal from Ruben Dias (19e), he did it again with a powerful left-hand strike after a pass from Rico Lewis (30e). Finally, he punctuated his work at the 83e by exploiting an offering from Nunes. With a little more luck, given that he missed a face-to-face just before the gong, he could have even left with a quadruplet.

Beyond the magnificent performance of its 9, City signed a very satisfactory performance. And to think that the English champion was not even at full strength with the absences of Rodri, Stones and Foden. PSG, future opponent of this team in the Champions League, is warned.
