Harry Amass has been one of the top performers in Adam Lawrence’s U18 Premier League side. The young left-back has trained with the Manchester United first-team, and was named in six consecutive Premier League match day squads, but he’s still waiting on his senior debut.

The 17-year-old was arguably the best player on the pitch during the week as United’s U18s won their third trophy of the campaign. Ethan Wheatley and Ethan Williams scored in a 2-1 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Ten Hag included the left-back in his squad to face Coventry City at Wembley in the semi-final of the FA Cup.

According to UtdDistrict, Amass suffered a knock in the midweek win over Chelsea U18s on Tuesday night, and will be assessed in the coming days.

The details of the injury were not specified in the report, although it is claimed that Amass was spotted wearing a protective boot on his right leg during the trophy celebration during half-time of our game against Newcastle on Wednesday evening.

Ten Hag has been playing Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Diogo Dalot at full-back since he is without a fit left-back in the squad.

The manager gave an update on Luke Shaw’s recovery after a recent setback and it doesn’t sound like he will be available for the FA Cup final.

Meanwhile, Tyrell Malacia remains on the missing list. The Dutch left-back hasn’t made a single appearance this season due to injury.

This means that Amass is likely to get a place on the bench for the final granted he can prove he’s fully fit by next Saturday.
