IMG Credit: WWEThat’s one. We are officially in the new year and that means it is time to start getting ready for some of the biggest shows of the WWE calendar. This includes the first major stop on the Road To WrestleMania in the form of the Royal Rumble. That show includes two of the show’s namesake matches, which are going to need a lot of people. Now we might know one of the guest stars who will be included.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: One Of Them? Conflicting Reports Over New Upcoming WWE Series
According to Wrestling Observer Radio, “everyone kinda thinks” that TNA Wrestling’s Joe Hendry will be included in the men’s Royal Rumble. Hendry has teased doing something in January without being specific. He has also made multiple appearances in NXT, including in a battle royal over the summer. Hendry is scheduled to challenge for the TNA World Title at Genesis on January 19, two weeks before the Royal Rumble.
This could be big. Check out Hendry in NXT:
Opinion: This is something that makes sense as Hendry showing up in a stadium full of people with that entrance and the song could make for one heck of a Royal Rumble moment. Hendry has a charisma that almost no one else can match and if he walks into Lucas Oil Stadium with the TNA World Title around his waist, it would be even better. This has me interested and I’m curious to see where it goes.
