How Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson plan to celebrate the holidays with their kids amid divorce rumors

They’re still planning on having a merry little Christmas.

Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson will reportedly be focusing on family time together during the holidays despite rumors of their separation.

“Jessica and Eric plan on being all together for the holidays with the kids,” an insider told Us Weekly.

The “Irresistible” singer, 44 and former NFL player, 45, share three children: daughters Maxwell, 12, and Birdie, 5, and 11-year-old son Ace.

“It’s all about the kids and family,” the source continued, adding of the allegedly estranged couple, “They don’t hate each other.”

The pop star and the ex-athlete will be gathering around the same Christmas tree this year despite recent reports that they are living separately

Another insider told the outlet last week that Simpson and Johnson are “trying to figure out a separation without disrupting their kids’ lives as much as possible” and that they are “still figuring things out.”

“They are both really committed to the wellbeing of the kids and trying to figure out what’s best for them,” the insider said.

Another source claimed that Simpson is “heartbroken” and that navigating their reported split has been “an incredibly difficult time.”

Speculation of the duo’s impending divorce has been swirling for months due to eagle-eyed spies taking note of Simpson posting photos without her wedding ring.

Last week, Johnson added fuel to the fire when he stepped out for a walk with his parents sans his own wedding band.

That same day, a source exclusively told Page Six that the retired tight end and Simpson had stopped attending their kids’ school events together over the last few months.

“In years past, Jess always attended events at the school either solo or with Eric, never [him] alone. But recently, it’s just been Eric,” our source shared at the time.

“As you can imagine, there’s been a lot of gossip among the parents.”

Simpson also set tongues wagging when she posted a cryptic message on social media that had some fans convinced she was suggesting her single status.

Earlier this month, Jessica’s sister, Ashlee Simpson, played coy when a paparazzo inquired about the rumors surrounding the “Employee of the Month” actress’ relationship.

“Do you know anything about it? Is that true?” the photographer asked the “Pieces of Me” singer, 40, who bluntly replied, “No.”

Jessica and Johnson were last seen looking loved up in public when they stepped out for a romantic Valentine’s Day date at Ivy at the Shore in Santa Monica, Calif., in February.

The fashion designer had gushed over her husband on Instagram just months prior in September 2023.

“Eric turned 44 on Sept 15 and his family gave him all the love cells we have to celebrate his life,” she wrote at the time, adding, “My heart is so taken with this Man, I could hardly call it my own….We love youuuu (he ain’t an Instagram guy, but I always think the more good wishes the better).”

Jessica and Johnson tied the knot in July 2014. She was previously married to Nick Lachey.
