How To Watch Notre Dame Vs. Ohio State In The College Football Playoff Championship Game

UPDATED with latest: No. 7 Notre Dame will face No. 8 Ohio State in the College Football Playoff championship game on Monday, January 20 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT and will air live on ESPN, which is unleashing its Megacast coverage featuring 11 different feeds of the game across the networks, ESPN+ and the app.

Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, Holly Rowe and Molly McGrath will the be the announcing team for the main ESPN telecast, which has programming set all day ahead of its College GameDay pregame show that starts at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT.

Among the offerings across the ESPN networks, all presented in 4K for the first time on Comcast, DirecTV, Dish Network, Optimum, Sling TV, Verizon and YouTube TV:

Field Pass with The Pat McAfee Show will call the game with McAfee on the sidelines and be joined by AJ Hawk, Darius Butler, Connor Campbell, Ty Schmit and Tone Digs.

Command Center on ESPNU features a multi-angle presentation with player and team statistics. The telecast will feature four main video feeds including the main telecast from ESPN, SkyCam and head coach cams.

SkyCast on ESPNNews has a camera situated above the action and behind the offense on most plays.

The Spanish-language call on ESPN Deportes will feature Eduardo Varela, Pablo Viruega, Katia Castorena and Ciro Procuna.

The College Football Playoff bracket was finalized December 8, setting the stage for the first year of a 12-team postseason that will crown a national champion. Both Notre Dame and Ohio State defeated higher seeds in each of their games on their road to the title game.

Three teams from the West — Oregon, Arizona State and Boise State, conference champs all — received first-round byes, as did Georgia after knocking off Texas in the SEC title game.

They played first-round winners in quarterfinal games December 31-January 1, with the semifinals January 9-10. All games after the first round were played on ABC or ESPN.
