Vassos is a 61-year-old school administrator from Rockland, Maryland. She’s ready to look for love again following the death of her husband of 32 years to pancreatic cancer. She’s a mom of four and has two grandchildren.

A promo released ahead of the new season showed Vassos at home with family members, including her mother and her late husband’s mother.

“I’m not here to replace Dad,” she told her family as they toasted to the journey ahead. “I just want our family to be whole again.”

Vassos first appeared on “The Golden Bachelor” as one of Gerry Turner’s suitors. but due to a family emergency, Vassos walked away from “The Golden Bachelor” after just three episodes. Her daughter was struggling with postpartum depression after a C-section, and Vassos had to go be a mom.

Who are the men of ‘The Golden Bachelorette’?

There are 24 men competing on this season of “The Golden Bachelorette” and one is already a familiar face to Bachelor Nation viewers. Mark Anderson, a 57-year-old Army veteran from Leesville, Louisiana, is the father of Joey Graziadei’s final rose recipient, Kelsey Anderson.

Graziadei and Kelsey’s love story is what inspired Mark to apply for the show. His official ABC bio states, “Mark is ready for love after loss,” following the death of his wife to breast cancer.
