A Nigerian woman, Uba Sandra Chisom, has marked one year since the burial of her husband, Henry Ifeka, who was killed by kidnappers shortly after they welcomed a set of twins.

LIB reported that Henry was abducted by suspected kidnappers last year and killed despite paying the demanded ransom for his release.

Taking to Facebook on April 13, 2024, the mother of twin boys said she has been living in pain, fear, grief and battling depression in the last one year.

“Today makes it exactly 1 year since I did my late husband’s funeral! This pain is too much for me to bear ! Every day and night I still cry ! Lord help me This life self am tired honestly,” she wrote.

“Those kidnappers that killed my husband, I want to ask you this question “what you did to me and my twin babies is it fair “? Why make me a widow and my children fatherless ? Honestly I have been living in grief, fear, pain, depression, lost, sad and am tired of living! Why subject myself and my children to this forever pain?

“It’s better I end it all Till your 7th generations, I curse everyone who made me a widow at this young age, non of you all will live above my late husband age nor hear the cry of a baby, this forever pain I go through everyday and depriving my children the joy of fatherhood not of your children will enjoy what fatherhood looks like.

“Ever since the death of my late husband I have been battling between life and death , my late husband was a good father, husband, family, business oriented, philanthropist, God fearing and I can go on and on.

“Those who know him can testify but you all decided to inflict pain on us. God in heaven as I pen this with the pain in my heart, I need you now help me Lord. I hold on to Isaiah 41 vs 10 …So Do not fear for I am with you do not be dismayed for I am your Lord , I will strengthen you and uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
