Igbo Man signs petroleum contract with Venezuela government

Veteran journalist and publisher of Ovation Magazine, Dele Momodu, took to his Facebook page on Friday, August 9, 2024, to congratulate Prince Arthur Eze, the CEO of Atlas Oranto Petroleum, for signing a significant petroleum contract with the Government of Venezuela.

Momodu expressed his admiration for the deal, highlighting the importance of the contract being signed in the presence of President Nicolas Maduro as a testament to its enormous scale and impact.

Arthur Eze, a renowned Nigerian oil businessman, philanthropist, and politician, is the driving force behind Atlas Oranto Petroleum, the largest Nigerian exploration and production group.

Born on November 27, 1948, in Ukpo village, Dunukofia Local Government, Anambra State, Nigeria, Eze founded Atlas Oranto Petroleum in 1991. The company’s operations span across 14 different countries, with substantial oil exploration activities in Africa.

Atlas Oranto Petroleum boasts a vast portfolio of oil and gas licenses in 12 locations across Africa, including assets in Nigeria, Equatorial Guinea, Senegal, Sudan, Uganda, and several other blocks.

With a reported net worth of $5.7 billion (₦2,240,134,000,000.00 Nigerian Naira) as of 2020, Arthur Eze’s entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen have positioned Atlas Oranto as a key player in the African oil and gas industry.
